Thank you all for coming out last night to Open House! It was wonderful to see so many of you! I am posting some pictures of a few of the things we discussed last night. Come back and visit our website often for some new pictures!
This is our class Dragon Dollar chart for the children to place their individual Dragon Dollars. Ask your child how many Dragon Dollars they have, and what they would like to buy when our store opens for business!
This is our class CAFE board. The children take turns with decorating the strategy strips we post on the board. Such talented artists we have! These are the CAFE strategies we have learned so far. Ask your child to explain to you what each one means.
This is our "Read to Self" chart.
It explains what the children and teacher are doing during this time of "Daily 5".
Today we began "Work on Writing". The children were so excited! They especially like the part that they get free choice of what to write about. Ask your child what they wrote about today.
This is our class rules chart. The students wrote the rules during the first week of school and signed the chart giving their promise to follow our class rules each day.
The children did a great job with "Work on Writing" today!!
