Kaleb's Service Project

Hello families.  Kaleb's family is doing a service project to raise food for a food bank.  They would love the support of our class family.  If you are able to contribute, please read the note below from Ms. Beckstrand.  Collections will be going on next week from March 10th through March 14th in our classroom.   Thank you for considering helping this worthy cause!

Our Family is participating in a Wake County service project to help raise food for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. The Food Bank's mission is to ensure that "no one goes hungry in central and eastern North Carolina". In order to fulfill its mission the Food Bank is dependent upon donations and volunteers. Our goal is to raise 10,000 pounds of food and supplies for the Food Bank and we would like to ask for your help in making that possible. Will you help us by providing 10 pounds of food or non-perishable supplies? For reference, one can of food is equal to one pound or one 9-pack of toilet paper is equal to one pound. Additionally, you can support this effort with a cash donation. Your help is greatly appreciated and is easy to accomplish. The following are ways that you can assist:

1- Cash Donations: $1 equals one pound of food
2- Fill the grocery bag with 10 pounds of supplies from the list below
